Acrônimo para Emmy, Grammy, Oscar e Tony, o EGOT é o grande prêmio de Hollywood, e apenas algumas celebridades (como Audrey Hepburn, Whoopi Goldberg, Mel Brooks e Jennifer Hudson) entraram na lista. O termo EGOT foi criado por Philip Michael Thomas um ator que alcançou a fama por seu papel em 'Miami Vice' e cunhou o termo em 1984, mas que nunca acabou ganhando nenhum dos prêmios. A primeira pessoa a realmente alcançar o status de EGOT foi Richard Rodgers, que ganhou o título em 1962 depois de ganhar um Emmy por música original composta para 'Winston Churchill: The Valiant Years'. A única pessoa, até agora, que participou do EGOT duas vezes foi o compositor Robert Lopez, que fez história em 2018 ao ganhar o Oscar pela música 'Remember Me' de 'Coco', o que significa que ganhou cada um dos prêmios pelo menos duas vezes.
